I cannot be a penny ante gambler, as I live in Canada, and we no longer have any pennies. Guess up here that will have to be rephrased as nickel ante gamblers. (strange as we have one cent machines in the casinos :))
Thanks for the info Maurice and Happy Wednesday! I'm not a big gambler by any means. Haven't been to Las Vegas for a long time but my typical MO when at a casino? I get $20 worth of change and start off betting quarters. When I've lost $10 I switch to nickels. That keeps me occupied long enough until betting loses its appeal and then I enjoy watching others play, meandering around, eating! With friendly poker games at home it was always penny ante. I'm too practical to let games of chance get the better of me financially plus which I don't own a poker face. Whatever kind of hand I have people can tell just by my expression which does not bode well for me! :)
