  • I remember wanting to be a teacher. I work as a T.A. now (one of my two current jobs) so that's close. I intend to be a college professor some day :)

I wanted to be the person who made milkshakes and sundaes at the drug store when I was a kid.  I thought that was the best job in the whole world!  I never reached that goal but I do make a great milkshake in my kitchen............

I wanted to be a wife and mother. I'm so glad I dodged that bullet! That would have been much too hard a job for me.

  • I wanted to be a hippy, homesteading potter.  When I told this to my POS father he flew into an apoplectic range, such that I thought he might attack me with fists.

I have ended up in a series of food service jobs, bitterly hating most of them. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at June 14, 2017 5:06 PM MDT
