  • Consider US history.  We praise men like men Franklin and is companions as leaders, visionaries and heroes.  But to the crown and Tories they were traitors.  Other examples would be witch finders.  heroes purifying the faith or simply men crazed by spurious beliefs?  Today's terrorist are heroes to too many of their coreligionists. and so forth.
