I'm not proud but I can be stubborn. That said, I have never had a problem admitting I was wrong. If somebody points out my error with proof then I simply say I was wrong and move on making sure I don't repeat the mistake. It's not a big deal.

    Nice Nelly,

(James 4:6) However, the undeserved kindness that He gives is greater. So it says: “God opposes the haughty ones, but he gives undeserved kindness to the humble ones.”
(Proverbs 16:18) Pride is before a crash, And a haughty spirit before stumbling.

  • I rather like being wrong Rosie.  It means the possibility of change - and hopefully change for the better.

The idea that some hold that they have to be right is, I think, the product of an infantile mind lacking in emotional maturity.  While I find children quite interesting little humans, adults who are children from the neck up are in no way appealing.

I'm pretty weird, I can be stubborn but mostly live and let live attitude, I've been lucky enough to have fought for things I don't regret.

It is a huge deal for some folks RC. They think admitting they were wrong is a sign of weakness. So they never do. I don't. I'm with you. It's no big deal. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

Good to know Nelly. I never have a problem  admitting I was wrong. Some people refuse to do so because they think it's a sign of weakness. I don't understand that kind of thinking. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

Some folks never admit they are wrong nor do they ever apologize. According to them it is a sign of weakness. I disagree. If you were right about everything there would be no adventure in life or excitement or risk. That could get very tiresome. Thank you for your reply MrWitch and Happy Wednesday to you m'dear! :)

" Some people refuse to do so because they think it's a sign of weakness."

Sadly many seem to think that.
