Here's the scenario. Republicans plan to push through a SECRET health care plan. How wise is that?

No one knows what's in it but them. Dems are not allowed access. No public debate. The people WANT to keep the Affordable Health Care Act and IMPROVE IT. They don't want it repealed and replaced by the Republican whatever it is. So if these hotshot arrogant sneaky Republicans ignore the will of the people exactly what do they think they face during mid-term elections and what lies ahead for them in 2020? It isn't wise to fool mother nature. Neither is it wise to go against what the MAJORITY of the American people want because they have VERY LONG MEMORIES and they don't like being treated as fools. Are the Republicans so bullheaded and ignorant they don't realize that they will be doing to themselves what Donald does to himself daily? Sabotaging/undermining/harming? Why?

    How?

That makes no sense.  I don't doubt they are trying this, but how is that even remotely possible?

In all fairness, this is pretty much what the Dems did with Obamacare.  As Karen points out, Pelosi said the bill had to be passed to know what was in it.  The GOP figures turnabout is fair play.  However, in the GOP case, there are possibly too many Republicans who were not happy with the bills they've put forth so far, so it may not fly here.

I  dunno  Shar. McConnell is controlling it. You know how good he is at  doing nothing?  I guess we'll find out how good he is at doing something behind closed doors and getting it pushed through. AARRGGHH! Thank you for your reply.

The whole thing is absolutely disgusting, playing with people's lives like that. Exactly what McConnell complained about when the Democrats were trying to pass the Affordable Health Care Act. So let's say for argument's sake that the Democrats were 100% wrong. Should the Republicans retaliate by being 100% wrong as well? Where does this pettiness, this childishness end? People's lives are at stake!!
