There were like 8 republican nominees at one point and now there's one so I don't know but I'd say Trump's been doing pretty good :)

I am not a fan of either candidate. That said, no candidate today runs a campaign on their own...nor does any president run the country all by themselves. They have a cabinet, advisors, daily briefings, and work with the heads of agencies as well as Congress.
