That's not necessarily true. Many people just aren't buying what the Democrats are selling.

Histrionics and lack of a clear message explaining how they'll make American lives better. Trump's election was a referendum on not wanting more of the same. So far, that's all the Democrats have delivered. Just hating on Trump will not get the job done.

The GOP held on to 2 seats in red states. Hardly what you would call a political wave.

The two runoff elections were supposed to be a referndum on the Trump presidency Stu. Though kinda close the Republicans pulled it off. There were 4 seats up for grabs and earlier the first two contests were won by the GOP. The most shocking thing to me was that the Dem in Georgia spent something like $23 million! (It didn't help him that he didn't even live in the district and couldn't vote there. He lived a couple of miles down the road). I read that the GOP candidate spent or had spent on her behalf substantially less but that over all it was the most expensive Congressional contest in American history. In excess of $50 million was supposedly spent if you count all the ads run. So it PROVES that while having money and spending it certainly doesn't hurt, it doesn't always help so much either. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)

But we already knew that, Rosie. Look no further than the losers in recent presidential elections - Clinton last year, Romney in 2012, and McCain in 2008.

OH...I get it now.  You didn't mention the money.  Thanks, Stu.

I cannot believe anyone thought it would happen differently.    In Montana the Republican candidate slugs the Democratic candidate and the GOP still took the seat?

There is no vote any more.  There is only TRUMP and his minions.

I agree. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to stop or even slow down Doofus Donny. He is giving "his people" what they want and the rest of us can go to He** SIGH. Thank you for your reply Shar and Happy Friday.
