You won't understand anything Conservatives do if you continue to not acknowledge their core belief in the benefits of smaller government. Once you at least acknowledge what they hope for you might begin to understand the hows and whys. They are not monsters but feel the best way to take care of "loved" ones is to get them out of the hands of government.
I have no problem with Medicaid. As.long As there is a work requirement (for those capable), proper income requirements and the government doesn't interfere with the Drs treatment.
