IF a guy who calls someone a "Showboater" is a SHOWBOATER what's gained?

Shouldn't you NOT BE what you accuse others of being to have the accusation be meaningful?  If you weigh  400 lbs and call someone who is 300 lbs FAT isn't the ebony fat pot calling the onyx fatter kettle black when they're both the same color? Why should anyone anywhere give any credence to something like that?

    That would be better, but we tend to use insults we have heard, much more than insults that fit the person we are trying to insult.
