What do you do when you get tired of your family during family vacation?

I read. Their bookshelf, the book I brought for the train ride, Old newspapers, whatever is at hand.

Now you know why I don't vacation with family. :)

i wish my family would invite me to them but they dont, thats what i find the most annoying

Update: I'm alive and well. Just small-talked out.

The only family  I have left that I would vacation with is my daughter.  We get along, understand one another and are good travel companions.

I would not give two cents for any of the others that are still on the Earth.  Spending five minutes around that toxic bunch is enough to put you off food for a month.
