I will complete my series of political and economic essays
I will write my series of pulpy action novels
I will create a hybrid motor vehicle drivetrain suitable for mass production that makes it possible to get 128 mpg while running on pure ethanol
I will create low cost electric power inverters that can be purchased for only a few hundred dollars each
I will create the Quantum Octave processor core, and a compiler capable of transcribing binary PC code to run at super-fast speeds on my new hardware
I will create solar energy and waste to potable water plants that will resolve the water problem in California
I will create a solar energy desalination plant
I will create a plant capable of converting live-stock waste to syn-diesel
I will create an advanced ethanol plant that's capable of using methane and solar energy to convert bio-mass to ethanol with zero petroleum input
As a retirement project I'll open the International Museum of Fraud and Forgery
Sometimes I'm crazy enough to think I'll actually get to all of that.
Use solar energy to desalinize ocean water - another project for the California coast. Basically solar fresnels warm a saline solution that's passed through a heat exchanger that boils ocean water, effectively distilling it. Pressure from the steam that's created is used to turn turbines that create electricity, so the plant's outputs are both electricity and drinking water.
I know what a solar-powered desalinization plant is. I just figured based on the way you worded it that you were getting a jump start on your Museum of Fraud and Forgery.
LOL!
:)
Delusions, not exactly.
Ridiculous hopes, quite a few over time.
Thankfully, less and less as I get older.
Now I just laugh at the silliness and impossibility.
