Someone dialed us twice this morning. Says he dialed a different area code/different phone number. How do phone lines get so screwed up?

    The person is misdialing. Or their phone is messed up.

    Misdialing TWICE? It was at 4am our time and scared me to death. No good news comes to anyone at 4am in the morning.  How do phone lines get messed up? Any idea? Are you screaming at me? I'm not deaf. Dial it down next time if you don't mind. It's too early to get a headache. Thank for your reply LOUD though it is and Happy Sunday to thee m2c.

    If you haven't already, put your phone number on the National Do Not Call Registry. Should help to eliminate those calls.

    Unfortunately it doesn't eliminate all calls. I usually don't pick up the phone if I don't recognize the number.
