A chair is a man-made 'hand of God'. It rests you gently between Heaven and Hell. You are floating in mid-air, sort of defying gravity. As a child, many years ago, I would sit in the moonlight with my grandmother as she told stories that a child would find haunting or mystical, like the bright moon on a star-filled night.
