The Universality of TRUTH is old hat/antiquated/outdated/meaningless. Its replacement is the Universality of Alternative News (LIES). WHY?

Theoretically or ideally possibly true. But when folks can hardly wait to embrace the alternative facts and lap them up  as if they are dying of thirst and the alternative facts give sustaining life to them then I wonder. The alternative facts originator has many supporters who believe them. I doubt that any of them would try to refute the alternatives. So the theoretical/ideal will not apply in real time in our real lives in today's America. Too bad. Truth is beautiful. Alternative facts are ugly. It's sad but true. The news media would rather lie and make up half truths in order to get ratings. Reporting the whole truth is becoming a thing of the past.
