How come I keep getting "Service Unavailable" when I try to delete my account?

I've tried for more than an hour now to delete my account and keep ending up with error codes, and temporily service unavailable. Last four times I ended up with below message on my screen, huh?

Service Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Additionally, a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    I think management is aware of and follows this category. It could be of interest for other users too, as I know at least one more member who also wants to delete but having same results as myself. Seems that someone managed to delete. Maybe it's only accounts that have been transferred from the old platform that is facing such issues.

    So unfair, right? Did you manage? I think it might be because our accounts are from the old platform. I just want to delete my account. Dammit. Grrr.

    Aww. How sweet of you, Sharonna to come here with an absolutely worthless reply, once again (do you even know what you mean, stay away permanently, or not close the door?). I've stayed away from participating in any activities on this site for more than a few months. I have been told you missed me. I intend to stay fully away as soon as this crappy (can we say that here without being censored?) system allows me to delete my account. I'm closing no door and do hope to stay in touch with a lot of the nice and lovely members I've met here. Some of them are luckily also on the same site as I am now.     Jesus Sharon.  The comment you made on that other thread you created, stating she hates you but you love her, isn't evident here.  Why did you show up on a question in which she is looking for help,  simply to make a snarky comment ?  She obviously has made up her mind.   Just leave it at that.  Please stop fanning the flames.   You accused her of being passive/aggressive on that other thread.  Your two comments here and the ones on the next page are evidence that it isn't her, but you, who has a problem.  Please, just stop the nonsense. It's annoying as f*ck to read.

    Sorry. I don't think you were much around those days up to, and was also suspended 48 hours before my last day here. On the bright side it gave me a start on the new site. It got its ups and downs like any other site. Personally I'm good dear, thank you. :-)

    Could be connected to having an "old" account from before migrating to the new platform. The one above succeeded although having to try over several times. 

    I'm glad we're still in touch sweet, say hi to the others from me. <3
