Ketchup on French fries or ranch dressing on French fries, and why?

Ranch dressing?! People put that on fries!? WHYY? Fries are already salty and fatty enough. Ketchup has the right balance of sweetness and tanginess to go with that. Ranch, goddamn.

I would not use either of those condiments on french fries or on anything else.

I prefer either spicy mustard or mayo.

UGH.....I have always detested Ranch dressing.....UGH...

& cannot imagine it on fries....ugh again!!!!

you could try mustard, but then for me that's just as bad........and ketchup has SO MUCH SUGAR or high-fructose corn syrup, which is VERY BAD for you..........but I guess in 'moderation' it's ok........ketchup for me.....!!!   screw the other stuff!
