Shampooing: lather/rinse/repeat, or just lather/rinse/done, and why?

I don't use shampoo. I use conditioner (Aussie) I have naturally dry hair so shampoo drys it more. I condition twice a week.

no need to shampoo more than once!!!!!!  what the hell for?? waste of time, and product.....you lather up, rinse, and rinse WELL,then your conditioner........

but does your scalp feel clean after just using the conditioner!?!?!

and what about the shampoos made for dry hair? ever try one of those? and L'Oreal has a conditioning cleanser that I think you'd really like; it lathers up, but then you rinse it out; condtioner/shampoo in one........

you might give it a try.......
