Will the US cop who switched off dash/body cams before shooting an unarmed Australian woman get off?

i would hope not

I do not know.  Perhaps the murdered woman had a cell phone in her hand, and one or both of the cops will say that they thought it was a gun. They felt their lives were danger.  :/    

He is screwed, blued and tattooed.  

Likely he won't do much time but it still is the end of his career in that department not to say he cannot find another to hire him.

This story is made-for-TV. The victim was a blond white woman, the cop was a man with a Middle Eastern name...it's the perfect storm. 

Not enough information to judge exactly what happened here, but I'll love to hear how the cop explains he "feared for his life". 

Cut off his arms, legs and genitals and send him back to Somalia.

Sad to say, but probably.  The Law allowing police to be held accountable if they can convince the jury and courts that they felt they were in danger gives a strong and hard to beat defence. Especially with a recent few incidences were cops were baited and had there cars run up on to be offed.
It's ridiculous.
