Las Vegas 2007. My husband and two kids went on spring vacation to Las Vegas and I hit triple 7s on the slots on two dollar machines at the same time one for 14 thousand dollars, the other for 10. I gave my kids two thousand dollars each, and split the rest with the ball and chain. Gave alot to the IRS then kept the rest. Im glad I didnt give it back to the House. ;)

I know.  That is terrific.  I think you already got raked through the coals from Uncle Sam.

  • I felt like I won gambling in vegas earlier this year. I could sit at penny slots playing on a dollar for an hour while getting free drinks.... winning! :)

  • Not so long ago, I traveled on US Interstate 80 Highway to California. At Reno, Nevada, I played dollar slot machines and won $673 on them.

I was just in Vegas a couple weeks ago.
I had my airfare paid for.  My room at The Paris paid for.  My meals were paid for too.  Every time we went out my drinks were paid for.  I was also given $100 to gamble with but didn't.  I walked with a $100 cash.  The best thing about this trip was I had the opportunity to spend time with a friend.  That part is priceless.
I'd say Yes.  I was the winner on this Vegas trip without even touching a slot machine.  I did gamble on though on my job.  Had I blown this trip, I would have blown a job/career I sincerely enjoy.
