I can't think of anything he wrote that could have censorship probs.

    THAT has censorship.   That????
    Come ON.

Even this site is not that picky.   They just had a whole slew of male member songs on here that named the anatomical member.    There, I hope that was surreptitious enough for them.

His hero was Woody Guthrie.  He is Jewish but became a Christian.  Some of my favorite words are from My Back Pages.

    In a soldier's dance
    I aim my hand
At the mongrel dogs who teach,
Fearing that I've become my enemy
In the instant that I preach.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that he recently won the Nobel Prize.

He never had a #1 single hit.  There was a log of good music in his era.  He did have some #2s.

Maybe, but Peter, Paul & Mary's cover of Blowin' In The Wind did go #1 on the American Contemporary chart.

He introduced the Beatles to marijuana.
He's a Nobel Laureate (poetry), arguably the greatest lyricist of the 20th century - the only one who ever came close occasionally was John Lennon.
He can't sing to save himself, the only thing he does worse is attempt to play harmonica.
Cover versions of many of his songs outrated his originals - Peter, Paul & Mary's cover of Blowin' In The Wind out-charted his own, as did Manfred Mann's Mighty Quinn, The Byrds' Mr Tambourine Man and Guns 'N' Roses Knockin' On Heaven's Door.

The ultimate folk-rock artist. Never to be matched. A lot of people even now from the music scene want to be like their hero. The problem, however, is that labels aren't interested in anything other than Miley Cyrus, One Direction, and talent-less garbage. There's good stuff out there. But nobody is going to hear it, unfortunately.

Noah Gundersen. Modern-day Dylan-esque extraordinaire. I've seen him live, he's the real deal.
