Sort of: my children are grown now, but when they were little, like many families, we had a set of those colorful magnetic letters and numbers to assist them in learning the alphabet, in practicing spelling, and in counting.  As they got older and put away childish things, the set of letters languished in the garage, but as a joke, I selected the ones that spell out my first and last names and took them to work with me.  Instead of a nameplate, I placed them on the file cabinet in my office, and they became a funny conversation piece for a while.  Since that time, more than a year and a half later, our office has moved to a new building, and the letters got lost in the shuffle.  I found them in a box a week or two after the move, but since the novelty had worn off, they are now relegated to a junk pile on the shelf next to my desk.

I always kept my kids' Christmas gifts in the office prior to Christmas.  One year one of them was getting an Etch-a-Sketch but when I took everything home on Christmas Eve the Etch-a-Sketch was missing.  I was able to run to Toys R Us and get one.  A few weeks later I found the original Etch-a-Sketch in a file drawer.  I opened it and started playing with it.  Needless to say that became an office toy.  It's probably still being played with.

Oh God, Jane.  I was ridiculous.  I had this habbit and I don't know why but I got away with it.  I would collage the whole desk.  I had sales jobs which kept me tied to a phone for 8 to 10 hours straight and to be able to stand it, I would cut out pictures while on the phone and tape them to the desk.  I would cover a whole desk in about 6 months.

I did this at least 6 times in 6 different jobs and no one ever stopped me.  I am still scratching my head about that.

I was a good sales person.  Maybe that's why.

And YES.  I collected all kinds of little toys.  Loved them.
