    Because he need someone to put the blame on.

    My guess is he talked it over with Sessions, and Sessions agreed to 'take one for the team'.

    Trump wouldn't know loyalty if it was a bird nesting in his hair. He's an opportunist, pure and simple. What continues to puzzle me is how seemingly intelligent people come off as being shocked by this.

    Thought of you earlier. There's a bit of off color humor but I still think you'll appreciate the message.  ;-)
