There is a Great Horned Owl living somewhere back in my woods. He wakes me up with his constant hooting. He must be searching for a mate. Any female owls out there?
This sometimes. I usually crash soon after school these days. I get home late and I'm kind of bushed.

I never wake up from sounds. I get used to them. I hear neighbors complaining all the time about the Mockingbirds around here. They sing all night non-stop and I open my windows to hear them. They are so gorgeous sounding I love it. That would never keep me awake or make me complain. I love nature.
lately, it's been the hot nights. i need a heavy blanket or someone's back up against mine to sleep well.
