If you went out to eat how much would you pay for the dinner you prepared last night?

It would be very expensive. They would have to assign a Chef to recreate it after your description for just you. A waste of a good chef, so they would most likely refuse to even try.

But how much would you pay if you did go out to eat it?

Probably about $15-$20. It was just pasta, but vegetarian/vegan is expensive. I paid under $10 for everything, and it'll be 4 meals.

    How about you?

I order food from Omaha Steaks and just got a weeks worth of food for $60.00 bucks.
So the night I posted this I had a top sirloin, twice baked potato, corn on the cob and tossed green salad.
To order that out would have been between $15.00 and $20.00.

I have no  idea what they charge for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich these days as I never order it outside. :)

I used to do the cereal sometimes, but I've been having that for breakfast instead of a bagel, so I don't want to have it twice in one day. :)

  • "Nothing" ... when I go out to eat, I don't order something that I can make at home.

It's hard to find a restaurant that serves cat anyway.

I don't remember what I chowed down on yesterday, because I didn't really eat a meal.

But usually?  I would pay around 25-30 for dinner prepared by me in a good restaurant.

I made tilapia (I just remembered what I ate), steamed and with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, chilled.

It was great and the portion I ate and the amount?  At least $25.00.  I ate 4 pieces mixed in a salad.

I was a fan of Tilapia fish for many years until I read how bad it is for us.
That dinner does sound good but I would replace the Tilapia with another choice of white fish.

FYI: Please read the info. about Tilapia before you buy it again.

If you prepared a meal at home, how much would you pay for that same meal if you were to order it out for dinner?
