    For a pet, I would prefer the pig.

    For keeping the carpets clean both the pig and the devil would be worse than useless.

    I don't want any pets.  I decide to go away for two days or two months and either way, I just lock the door and go.

    The pig. Pigs are domesticated, Tassies are WILD ANIMALS. And critically endangered. And most have a type of Tasmanian devil specific cancer, which is why they are endangered and facing extinction within 30 years if a cure is not found.

    I think miniature pot-bellied pigs are adorable, but you would need a lot of room for them and I don't think my condo board would approve my having one.
