What does it tell you when our President lights the White House rainbow for gay marriage, purple for a dead pop star, but refuses repeated requests to light blue for cops killed in the line of duty?

Really? First I heard of his latest mistake.  This is a big one, like all the others. 

Very little, given that being a policeman in the United States has NEVER been safer in population-adjusted terms and scarcely ever been safer in absolute terms.

is someone keeping count of how many cops have been killed by criminals versus how many innocents and/or criminals have been killed by cops? maybe the ratio is all wrong... or something. i dunno.

I think it's a complex matter that involves the murder of black men and the murder of Police in response, hardley appropriate to use 'lights' at all. I totally agree with his decision.

And does he light it black for those shot while unarmed by the local constabulary?

It means he is a despicable ideologue who embraces nothing but false narratives to push his warped Marxist agenda. The "man" pays respect to the reprehensible and only pays lip service to those most of us sane people respect greatly. His legacy boils down to selective outrage and selective mourning. To him, truth is a menace and logic is an enemy.

This man's words mean very little, judge him by his actions...

He doesn't deserve to be President.  I'm ashamed to say he's America's president.

It doesn't fit his anti cop agenda. If Obama lit the white house blue it would make it seem like he supports cops therefore losing his support base.
