Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» "It will cover everyone. It will be better. It will be cheaper. It will be so easy ". So much for Trump's words about healthcare. Now what?
OK, now that we have healthcare settled, we can move on to decimating ISIS, building a transparent solar wall across the Mexico/U.S. border so we can see who's throwing those 60 lb. bags of drugs over it, deport approximately 10-12 million illegal immigrants, bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S., including the jobs that make Trump brand items, restore the coal mining industry, and make America great again. Did I leave anything out? Oh, and broker peace between Israel and Palestine. How's Kushner doing with that?
Kushner is up to his eyeballs in alligators at this time I believe Spunky. I know one thing for sure and I'm telling you that right now. If I am ever president I WANT YOU to be my Chief of Staff. You just laid out a clear-eyed plan of attack bing bing bing bing without batting an eyelash. I PROMISE YOU that you will have full authority to do the job. I have dibs on you okey dokey? For whenever! Thank you for your helpful reply and Happy Saturday!
Thank you, Rosie, for the vote of confidence. I certainly couldn't do any worse. Now, General Kelly is the chief of staff - didn't take Priebus long to cave, did it, and he's still kissing Trump's bottom with all the complimentary things he said about him. Yuck.
I want to see that entire administration collapse like a house of cards. I had a lot of respect for McMasters, Kelly and Mattis. Only Mattis still has my respect. So, who do we think will be nominated for Homeland Security? Giuliani, perhaps, although he has stated he has no interest.
Happy Saturday. :)

Last thing I heard floated was to move Sessions from AG to head of Homeland Security. He'd be a good fit with his hatred for immigrants and all. A natural. Then Doofus Donny replaces him with a puppet who does his bidding and fires Mueller. Except that the chorus of threats from other politicians grows larger and louder. Doofus DARE NOT do that. If he fires Sessions "holy he** will break loose" according to Senator Lindsay Graham. And if he fires Mueller there will be a Constitutional crisis and impeachment proceedings will begin. Now Doofus backed down on trying to veto the Congressional Russian sanctions bill. Congress made it veto-proof and so he didn't want to suffer the humiliation of a veto override as he suffered the humiliation of the death of Trumpcare. Of course he takes no blame for the death of healthcare GOP style. Surprised, right? Thank you for your reply! Giuliani was floated as a possible AG but I think Giuliana himself shot that down. I have no idea how it is going to play out. I'm waiting to see what the new Chief of Staff who goes to work on Monday does with the Mooch. Boot him from the White House is the only course he can take. Will he? We shall see.
That's what I heard, too, but I'm pretty sure the backlash would be indescribable if he does that. When Trump starts to get pushback from his own party, maybe he realized that he has to curb his natural instinct to go for the jugular. I think he will just continue to berate and humiliate Sessions in public, get his lackeys to do the same and hope that Sessions resigns. I'm no Sessions fan, but I hope he sticks it out. Trump never takes blame for anything, so it is not surprising at all. I don't think he made himself any friends when he all but outright threatened Murkowski about withholding federal funds for Alaska. I think even Giuliani is smart enough not to get entangled in the pit of vipers, but we'll see. Gen. Kelly will have his hands full. It seems that he turned the Chief of Staff position down a couple of times before. I'm not sure why he thinks it's a good idea now except that he may think he can curb Trump's impulsive behavior. I wish him luck with that.
