Many Republicans showed up at town hall meetings when their legislators were brave enough to hold them and face them and they gave the pol HE** for wanting to take away their health care. That only 3 Senators listened is terrible for the people they are supposed to represent. As far as the House is concerned they are more about political obedience than serving their constituents. Also a pity but less is expected of the House than the Senate. These people say they were just keeping their promise to repeal and replace. They had no replace. They expected people to go without insurance till they could come up with something in a couple of years? If they couldn't do it in 7 years why would anyone believe they could have done it in two?. And what were the people supposed to do in the interim? Play tiddly winks/hopscotch/jacks? What a humiliating defeat. They toed the party line and did what they were told to do and they still couldn't get it done because of 3 people with character and determination to do the right thing for their constituents. What McCain did may be his greatest moment as a Senator.
