That's funny. Someone filed a "feedback" requesting more emojis maybe a week ago. I said we needed to focus on some of the other core fixes of the site first, but that I'd add this to the list of potential changes when we fix the other stuff. Truth be told, I didn't even realize that was a thing- that people even noticed them or cared. I'm interested to see the responses to this question now that it's out there.
Nope. A few emois are fine and can express more than can be said. A hundred emois is too much, there is no way to choose the 'better' one, because they all look mostly the same ;-)) Ever our current 16 are twice as many as we need.
Computers have made handwriting obsolete. With enough emojis, we could make typing obsolete, but the real goal, I think, should be voice-actuated emojis so that we could eliminate the keyboard. (Don't mind me ... just brain-storming.)
