There's no user report or block feature, so it's not like users have the option to weed out trolls. You have the option of making your privacy settings set to where only your added friends can view your posts, but it's a useless feature when you only have like 2 or 3 friends or you are a newcomer and have none and you want to keep your posts open to the public to get a topic going, but there is that one troll that incessantly berates you on your posts.
Pleeeeeeeeeease make a block button.
Life is good.

I've never had that issue with a block feature, in which case I would just block those accounts too if that were the case.
Thanks for the pep talk, mommy.
If I see a scab, I'm going to pick at it. It gets itchy and irritating and ignoring the sensation does not make a difference. I'm not someone to ignore a problem, I try to solve it.
Everyone is allowed to have an opinion until you disagree with them. That's basically the logic. It's like the middle-school principle you had that would see a kid that got the shit kicked out of them and said, "Just ignore it. It'll go away. We can't do anything about it because it would be ethically wrong to take action." Lol wut.
Ah, the ignore logic. I'm guessing you were well-liked growing up.
So I've heard a lot of hippies rant about why there is no block button, something about freedom of speech. If you truly believe that, why is it recommended that I report the user? You're telling me I can effectively block someone by contacting an admin but I just can't do it myself? I have to hold someone's hand while I pee kind of process? I can still reach my goal that everyone is debating ethics about, but just in a drawn-out process? Seems a little redundant and counterproductive if you ask me.
If you report the issue, the attacks will be deleted and the attacker told to stop. If it does not stop then there are consequenses.
What is the difference if an admin does something or if I do?
You don't get rid of the problem. You only hide it.
Great for me.
Which is better than nothing.
