When was the last time you were interrupted?

Ever see the movie "Girl Interrupted," with Angelina Jolie and Wynona Ryder? I'm having lunch at the soda fountain where one of the scenes was filmed. My brush with fame!  :-)

    That said, I hear Wynona Rider (b.s. gossip) is just like that character in real life.

    She and Gwynneth Paltrow?  Rawwwrrrrrr   They hate each other according to the gossip magazines.  (fake news again)

    I hear Beyonce' is a beeothch.  So if that is true and she is friends with Gywnneth ?   Maybe Wynona is the nice one.

  • "In 1993," when the making of "Demolition Man" came to the site where I was working to film the Taco Bell restaurant scene. The filming company used our cafeteria to film the scene and it interrupted lunch for weeks.

  • That's cool that you get to be where they filmed.
    I do remember that movie because I used to watch Angelina Jolie movies like Hackers, Playing God, Gia and Gone in 60 seconds.
    She's cute.
    I haven't had the pleasure to be on a movie set myself because it doesn't happen much where I live, but some of the Leonardo Dicaprio movie "The Revenant" was filmed in my province in Canada so I was kinda excited about that at the time so I went to see it at the theater and I think I recognized some of the locations from having travelled through the mountains myself. : )

    Always fun when you can recognize locations you've actually seen in person. Heard that was quite some move. Glad Leo finally won his well deserved Oscar.

  • I just looked it up and it was filmed near where I've been so I guess that terrain all looks somewhat similar, but I still swear I recognize some of it.
    Anyway, yeah it is beautiful up there.
    It was always strange that he was nominated so often and hadn't won an Oscar and no I didn't see the grizzly bears when I was near there thankfully. : )
