    Because no matter how "right" the thing you do may be there will be some who think it is wrong. Its called democracy.

    I do not agree with your premise. For example, I may justify spending money on a luxury item, but that is not bad, evil, or criminal. I may justify leaving work early to spend time with family. Again not bad, evil or criminal. If you only think bad things need to be justified, you are hanging out with the wrong kind of people.
