To what party does The Donald belong? Is he thrilled with the support he gets from the dregs of humanity whose entire lives are based on HATE? Is his as well?
Neither Lincoln nor Eisenhower would be accepted by the GOP of today. The old "centre right" party has shifted so far to the lunatic Right that they make Mussolini look like an absolute Marxist by comparison.
Did you get any coverage on the Charlottesville, Virginia tragedy down under Sbf? 3 dead, 35 injured. A WHITE NATIONALIST plowed his car into a group of counter protesters who were protesting the WHITE NATIONALIST/KKK rally being held at the University of Virginia. It got very ugly and very tragic very quickly. SIGH. The WHITES were protesting removal of a Confederate statue in a Park. Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday! :) What I fear is that copycatting will break out.
Both major political parties have changed since the Civil War era. Things continuously change.
