(That's not a pun, it's a joke. While it's true that a pun is a type of joke, and that all puns are jokes, not all jokes are puns. Gosh, do I have to explain everything to you, Carb?) ~
I have an excuse, Im half dyslexic so i got it backwards. And yes, apparently you do. THank you for enlightening me on my error. Or more like, pointing out my half dyslexia. ;P
I re-looked your comment preceding this one and concluded you are wrong and i was right. My original comment to O=Uknows answer is correct. It is a pun not a joke. You stand corrected. You can be excused Randy G ;P
A pun involves a play on words or twisting the meanings of words. Don't drop the soap is an age-old joking reference to what can happen in the prison showers.
Its a play on words. He said Drop the Soap, which implies anal sex man on man. I played on words by coming back with a He He , such as He on He in anal sex. I ended my my sentence with a pun. He He. (sorry my appostophy sign doesnt work on my puter.) P
That's not the definition of a play on words. The words "don't drop the soap" are straightforward, their meaning is straightforward, it's a one-liner: do not drop the soap. Puns, however,
Give it up, Randy. She is saying the pun is 'he he'. You seem to think she is talking about the phrase 'drop the soap'. It's OK to be wrong, just accept it.
Are you still going on about the fiasco in Flagstaff? That was nothing, at least for you, it wasn't. If I remember correctly, you got 7 months of probation with no jail time, while I had to do 9 months in the county jail. Say, you weren't flirting with those investigators in the interrogation room, were you?
That wasn't me. I was referring to the time in Boise when you said I would be out of jail in 24 hours and then you took off. If the corrections officer hadn't fallen in love with me, I might still be there.
