Should putting a potted plant outside be considered torture?

They're so close to being in the ground, yet they're confined to a pot.

    No.  It started outside actually.  The trick is to do indoors what is done naturally outdoors.


    WHA?   Pot, right?  It's a plant.  It grows outdoors naturally.  Even in pots?  Oh well.
