Wishy washy or cowardly? Fence sitters and those who are indifferent. Afraid of taking a stand. What do they fear?

Or perhaps they are really totally empty inside and have nothing to offer to anyone at any time. No opinions, no views, no pleasures, no preferences, no displeasures. Nothing. Have you ever met someone so empty he/she had no opinion on anything?

I am indifferent, but not a fence sitter or coward. I just no longer care.

That sounds like depression to me Ele. It's funny sad. I care about so much all the time that I'm overloaded and overwhelmed and always behind the 8 ball. Much as I talk and question I have that much more trying to get out. I am at the exact opposite end of the pole you're on and honestly it is really hard for me to imagine feeling that way. No highs or lows or joys or exhilaration or excitement or anticipation or sadness? Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday! :)

In many (but not all) instances, I have the ability to see both sides of an issue so I don't take a all good/all bad stance on those.

I guess that makes me empty on the inside since I generally don't go to the extreme. Oh well.
