    It is the Correct loving thing to do.. It is good.. irrespective of ones performance in trying to do it .. 

    Not sure if any other religion has a Love your enemies teaching.. Maybe the buddhists might have something close? But the thing is many buddhist say that buddhism is not a religion..

    Yes.  It is.  Exactly the same. 

    Loving.  Not being in love.   Respecting and forgiving them their trespasses as they forgive us ours.

    Judge not; lest ye be judged

    Be objective and let it be.

    Turning the other cheek means, don't even think on it.  It does not matter in the grand scheme of things. 

    It is about you and God not you and them.  It never was.

    Also, a magical thing can happen.   They can see the error of their ways a lot faster, and more clearly when no thought of revenge is in sight.

    You don't have to be a fool, just don't lower yourself to be the same as they are.  Look at it that way.

    Of course Buddhists will fight and kill others and wage war i know that.. I was really talking about their doctrines not their actions..
