There is a hidden assumption in your "OMG! Look what Hillary did!" rant.
That hidden assumption is something marked "Top Secret" must, by defintion, be something vital to national security which would endanger lives if if fell into the possession of someone who could take action upon it.
That hidden assumption is poorly supported. There is a long history of the US government (and probably other governments around the world) classifying information out of bureaucratic reflex, or because public officials want to keep information which would embarrass them out of public view. I recall in the 1990s the Clinton administration had a task force do a report on the excessive use of classification in government....and someone classified the report as "secret."
If I may use an analogy, consider the following two scenarios: Taking a .50 cal machine gun to a busy downtown street and opening fire randomly versus taking a BB gun to a deserted hilltop in a park and opening fire randomly. Assuming you have no intent to actually hurt/kill anyone, both are "Illegal discharages of a firearm in public." Yet I think you'll agree one scenario is far more dangerous than the other.
Do you have any evidence which scenario more resembles what HRC did? If so, please present it. Just the fact something was stamped "Top Secret" doesn't tell us any more than "Illegally discharging a firearm in public."
As for your final question, OF COURSE HRC is going to be investigated for lots of things. That's the nature of partisan politics. If Obama's birth certificate and Benghazi-gate have taught you nothing about politicians engaging in stupid pointless groundles investigations for partisan political gain....well, then you simply chose not to pay attention.
OS, my question wasn't to assume what criteria the Gov. uses to determine what is and what isn't "Top Secret" It is based on the fact she used an unsecured server, that's all. As I do appreciate you taking the time to write your dissertation, and I agree with your gun scenario, that there're different degree's of f--king up. I just happen to believe that doing what she did, being careless like that, is a precursor of bigger and worse things to come.

Hey, if you don't like HRC and think she'd make a bad President, that's fine. I don't like her either. Make your arguments about her policy shortcomings. But this complaint about her is partisan dislike which, for some reason, you feel you have to hide by concern-trolling about HRC's alleged competence. Your not fooling anyone (except maybe yourself).

Hilary gets a free pass for using an illegal server and we don't know who has hacked it. Russia hacked the DNC network for over a year before they figured it out.
