Have you ever thought you pretty much had your sh*t together and then suddenly realized you didn't have it together AT ALL?

I was doing a pretty damned good job of kidding myself for a while. The people who have their sh*t the most together are those who know it's not really ever together!! 

You have a point there :) I dont really ever need to feel like I have my shizzat together.... but a little direction and focus would be nice right now. im all over the map lately. SPINNING spinning ... spun :) 

I hear you. I sincerely felt like I was really self-aware. In some ways I was/am, but I completely forgot to listen to myself. I pushed past exhaustion. I was trying to be everything for everyone and I completely lost my mind for a minute there. My gut reaction is to think I can go back to "normal" now, but I really have to check myself. Listen to myself and stop thinking that I don't have any needs. That leads to disaster. For real! 

sounds like you have things under control :) I didn't "check myself" and did the spin out of control for a year. Don't do that;)

Thanks. Apparently, I've done a pretty good job of fooling those around me, too. When I told my bff what happened to me, he said "Really? I had put you to being just slightly off" (he's a Brit). HA!

Here's the thing... that keeping up the appearance of having my sh*t together - that's what really contributes to completely losing your sh*t. I'm going to worry more about actually HAVING my sh*t together and less about appearing to have it together. If that makes sense.
