Match what? 95% of my clothes are black or gray, so I guess they sort of match each other.

If you mean would I wear floral prints with plaids, the answer is no.  The women in my office seem to have made an unconscious decision to stick to black or navy blue pants with any kind of solid or print tops.  I am becoming more inclined to follow that as it's a much easier decision when you stand at the closet door in the morning and ask yourself, "What should I wear today?" or, if you're Middle Eastern, "Should I wear the black burqa or the black burqa?"

I usually wear jeans so just about every top I have goes with them but if I wear a dress I'll pick a pair of shoes that go with it.

  • Denim jeans only match denim blouses the same color. Some colors do not blend well with the blue of most jeans.

Mine don't.  They just have to be clean and hole-free. ;)

  • I coordinate clothing, rather than match items precisely. One color cap-a-pie is dull. Today, I wear maroon blouse, medium grey skirt and black shoes. Yesterday, I wore pale blue blouse and navy blue pants with black shoes. If I wear a striped blouse, I wear solid color pants or skirt. I do not wear garish colors or patterns. No purples, violets, bright reds, etc. for me! I coordinate colors and wear only one item with a strong pattern.
