Nothing we do or say will change history. However removing hurtful reminders of it makes sense. Who is hurt by it?

Yes. The WHITE SUPREMACISTS with their ever-so-delicate feelings are hurt by it. They feel cheated. They feel invisible as if their ancestors' lives didn't matter. That must be it. They are such caring and loving people that it hurts them grievously to see statues of those their ancestors worshipped being removed to a museum where other such statues can live in peace They want those statues IN YOUR FACE and not relegated to a different place. Delicate. Sensitive. Heartbroken. Well that's the way it goes. Suck it up and move on.   :(

    No one should be hurt by it.  Rather they should take these statues and put them in a museum where we can see how devolved people once were.  Don't destroy them, but don't place them in areas where they are considered worthy of renown and admiration.

    Rather, put them in an area where history can be explained on a placard saying that men used to think with their rear ends rather than their heads.
