  • I think it is true. Being excessively demanding in any manner causes problems in relationships. There are parodies of this. An American girl I know told that Cher was not liked in England after appearing in a stage play there. In the play, she asks her lover if he still loves her. He tells her that he does, and she says, "But do you really love me?". Again, he assures her that he does. Finally, she asks, "But do you still love me even when I do this?", and passes gas loudly. Many English people were offended by such vulgar actions. Sandra also told about a movie in which there was a similar dialogue, and finally, the man asked his girlfriend if she still loved him when he punched her in the solar plexus. They beat one another proving their love.
