I only travel around the city so I know all of the main surface streets and when the worst and best traffic times are. And practice. This post was edited by Element 99 at October 6, 2018 3:51 AM MDT

Any city street that is not a major highway. A neighborhood street.

  • "Landmarks" ... you can usually see landmarks before you can see street signs.

Turn around and go back inside. There's nothing out there.

I get a new atlas every year.  Very easy.  No batteries required. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at October 6, 2018 3:52 AM MDT

    Book stores
    Walmart
    Travel shops/truck stops

I get mine from my insurance agent.  They used to mail them to all customers yearly but now I have to go by his office and pick it up.  It you have State Farm, ask your agent for one.
