No. I did go to the one in Georgia the next year. Many of the same performers. Woodstock is estimated at 400,000 people. The Atlanta Festival (which wasn't even in Atlanta but they called it that anyway) is estimated to have been between 200,000 and 600,000. It was crazy and this little Southern gal had no business being there. My mother still doesn't know (I don't think). ;)
I went to many concerts at that time and we were sort of planning on it, but we missed the BIG one.
I did go to Kickapoo Creek and that was right around the same time. It was in Wisconsin and I had a horrible time. It was because I took a bad hit of something that was supposed to be Mescaline and turned out to be a cow tranquilizer.
I went to 'Boogie Hill' in 1973. It was a joke. The Doobie Brothers canceled. That left Canned Heat and Quicksilver Messenger Service. At least the weather was nice. When it got dark, I fell asleep. However, I had a fine young lady with me. Hehehehehe!
