Have you ever had second thoughts after giving to a charity?

No, I usually have second thoughts before giving to charity.

I did have second thoughts. Their name, "Winter Coats for Hawaiian Children" really should have been a red flag.

Before sites like Charity Navigator, I was giving to a couple of charities that I thought were doing good deeds and then discovered that they weren't spending nearly enough money on their programs, so I stopped giving.  Now, before I give to any new charity, I check them out first.  I also check the ones I give to on a regular basis to make sure that they are still doing what they claim.
