If you were a lawyer could you defend someone who was guilty of going something you abhor? Wouldn't that make you a hoor?

No. That would make you a defense attorney.

I could do it easily and readily. Even the guilty get their day in court. And yes, the law protects them too. People outside the system need to quit thinking about the judicial system in terms of how they think it should be and start understanding the way it actually is and how it operates. It's not about personal feelings.
