  • PEI is Mine. Why? That is my Chinese surname. I am Pei Chia-Li in China. PEI literally refers to a conch shell. Chinese phrases have several levels of meaning. Pei is conch shell that is one of the eight sacred objects of Buddhism. Chia means beautiful, fine, exquisite, etc. Li means Truth, Logic. Chinese names are omens that people try to live up to.
