Other animal species have been elected to public office. Why limit ourselves to a human for prez?

Worldwide they've elected dogs, cats, a brown mule, a beer-drinking goat, a rhino, a monkey, a hog.

Some specifics

Rabbit Hash, Kentucky
Elected a dog as mayor 4 times

Milton, Washington
Elected Boston Curtis, a brown mule, as the new Republican committeeman

Lajitas, Texas
Elected Clay Henry, a beer-drinking goat, as Mayor. When he died his son Clay Jr. took over.

Talkeetna, Alaska
Stubbs, the cat, has been Mayor since 1997

Some people on this site keep referring to the President as a 'pig', so I guess an animal will do.

I can't be 100% certain but I don't think I have done so bh. He looks like an orange Humpty  Dumpty to me. They call them gingers don't they? He doesn't remotely resemble Miss Piggy, whom I like by the way. Cops are often referred as pigs.  So are some men who treat women like sex objects. I suppose  Donald is piggy vis a vis his sexually abusive treatment of women in the past but I have not been a victim so I cannot say for sure. Thank you for your reply! :)

  • It's truly amazing that it hasn't happened. The electorate of this nation is nothing more than a pack of animals. We're probably not that far from the scenario of ancient Rome when Caligula made his horse a senator.
