Lol :) I should no have posted that video for you :) I'm locked my self out of my house cos was hanging out side and it's por rain and I'm faaaking freezing! I think this my karma....lol :) I'm sitting deck try figure out wtf to do. I'm a cluster faaak.
I've had a number of 8-track players in vehicles and as stereo components, including a couple of 8-track recorders. I even had a 4-track/8-track player (it would handle either) for one of my cars. Heck, I even remember car radios with vacuum tubes. (never had one but have repaired a few of them.)
Now, do you know of anyone that had a record player in their car? An in-dash record player was one of Motorola's first products. Quite a collectors item if you can find one.
