Have you ever bought and/or used a Breakfast Sandwich Maker?

Unlike today's weather, yesterday was a beautiful day here in New Hampshire.  There were garage & tag sales every 50 yards or so.  At one of them,  I spied this little handy dandy little gadget....

It's a Breakfast Sandwich Maker!  Yum!
Don't everyone get all excited.  I didn't buy it.  I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would need something like this.  When I want a breakfast sandwich, I buy one.

Do you own one of these?  If so, why?  Oh sorry, I mean, how do you like it?
Is it easier to use than just frying up an egg and slapping that eggy on a toasted english muffin with a slice of melted cheese?

  • yes and I love it.  Normally I detest kitchen gadgets but it heats up by time I set up my coffee and it is done with the sandwich by time I finish my morning shower.  No  mess and easy to clean.  It's actually pretty good for single people.

I'll admit, I never even looked at how they work.  It just seemed like a waste of money to me.  When it breaks, let me know.  I know someone at a yard sale who's looking to unload one.

Glad to hear you shower every day.

  • I was given one 5 years ago about and thought meh, but it  grew on me quick when  I used it finally.  The lack of dishes is what makes them useful really.

You know, you're starting to get me to see the benefit of these things.  I might pick one up when I see one again.

Nah, probably not.  I'm trying to get rid of things at the moment.

I'd have bought it!  I am the biggest ever sucker when it comes to gadgets.. I can't even watch shopping channels as I see the latest gadget and think... oooooh I need one of those and I am fully convinced that it will change my life forever! To be fair many of them have been good.. the pie maker was cool... i was very fond of the juicer.. and ooooh the ice cream maker was fabulous.. but then eventually I get bored...

There you go!  People usually buy that stuff and the novelty wears off quickly.

The only time I watch shopping channels is when I need something non-medical to put me to sleep.  I'm not a big gadget gal.  I like my frying pan and toaster oven.  They are multi-functional.

Banana slicers are great for quick efficient breakfast-making. You can buy them on Amazon and they have over 5,000 helpful reviews (you really should read some of them).
